Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in partnership accounting, professional services, or law firms.
• Strong understanding of partnership finance, capital accounting and remuneration.
• Excellent reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and handling large data sets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Discretion and ability to work with confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer partner remuneration processes, ensuring accurate payments.
• Support management and reconciliation of partner capital accounts.
• Prepare and maintain partner financial records and supporting docs.
• Coordinate partner distributions and drawings.
• Produce monthly and quarterly partner finance reports.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting and financial planning.
• Maintain partner data across finance systems.
• Serve as first point of contact for partner finance queries.
• Support annual admissions, retirements and capital movements.
• Assist with audits and year-end reporting requests.
• Identify and implement process improvements within partnership finance.
