What does a Partner Sales Placement Student actually do?

Our EMEA Box Partner Sales team fosters innovation and collaborates with both partners and the direct Go To Market teams to achieve significant market share and field success. Their main goal is to close more and bigger deals.

You will be helping the team with deal structuring, negotiation and closure, developing high-value use cases and helping to drive revenue generation. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of Box’s revenue growth plan aligned with regional and global strategies.

What does that mean day to day?
  • Act as a bridge between the Sales team and partners
  • Collaborate with partners to generate leads and enhance sales efforts
  • Coordinate marketing lead generation activities, including attending events with partners
  • Conduct visits to partner offices for follow-ups, planning, territory account reviews, and lead generation sessions
  • Assist sales representatives in finding ways to accelerate business growth and increase revenue
  • Maintain a balance between partner collaboration and direct sales within Box
What is Box looking for?
  • Communication – you build relationships through your strong phone/video presence and excellent written language capability.
  • Drive – demonstrates a level of resilience to overcome objections and have a “can do” attitude to delivering personal goals.
  • Attention to detail – everybody makes mistakes, even the most detail oriented employee. You will be detail oriented by nature, learn from mistakes and able to prioritise effectively ensuring quality on sometimes tight deadlines.
  • Commercial Acumen – you are able to problem solve and creatively uncover new opportunities to fuel future sales pipeline.
  • Either French or German language skills are a plus but not essential.

To be eligible you must be an undergraduate student in a placement year course returning to study Autumn 2027, you also will need to have the right to work in UK already in place.

If you are studying something Business, Management or Marketing related it would be a plus, however from experience you don’t need a specific degree background to be successful as a placement student in box.
