Nicholas Scott has an outstanding opportunity for a Private Equity Partner to join a leading US firm with an established sponsor practice across Europe and the United States.

The clients and transactions

The practice advises European and North American private equity houses, sector-focused investors and their portfolio companies. Its work spans middle-market and upper-middle-market investments through to multibillion-dollar buyouts, alongside growth equity, carve-outs, acquisitions and exits.

For a partner whose clients pursue international investment strategies, the attraction is the ability to support them across successive transactions and jurisdictions throughout the investment lifecycle.

The European and US platform

London sits within an established European private equity practice, with substantial transactional capabilities in France, Germany and Italy, alongside competition and regulatory expertise in Brussels. These teams work closely with a broad US practice to advise European sponsors investing in America and North American sponsors deploying capital across Europe.

The strength of the bench

Experienced private equity partners and associates are supported by specialists in leveraged finance, private credit, tax, management incentives, competition, regulatory matters and restructuring. Sector experience includes technology, financial services, insurance, healthcare, business services and industrials.

This offers an incoming partner the resources to execute complex transactions and develop a broader relationship with sponsor clients and their portfolio businesses.
