Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Thame is seeking a part-time Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose produce and partner-led service directly to customers' doors. You will load your van, check routes, and perform safety checks while maintaining excellent customer service.

When not on the road, you’ll assist the shop team with daily tasks and housekeeping. This role is 15 hours per week across Saturdays and Sundays with precise shift patterns, and will suit someone who is self-motivated, IT

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Able to cope with physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and adaptable.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries and ensure orders are ready for direct delivery to customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and safety.
• Act as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with top customer service.
• Assist customers with their shopping and build rapport.
• Support the wider shop team with general tasks as needed.
