Essex County Council ACL is seeking a Part Time Vocational Trainer - ESOL to deliver high-quality ESOL teaching and assessment to adult learners at Basildon. You’ll support learners from diverse backgrounds to develop the language, personal, social and employability skills they need to progress into further learning, employment, and active participation within their communities.

Please note that this position is being offered on a part-time basis, on a fractional contract, offering 18.5 hours per week. The expected pattern of teaching delivery can be seen below and will be discussed / confirmed in the interview.

Our recruitment process is made up of two stages. The first stage is a:
1 hour Micro Teach Presentation and discussion, where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your teaching approach and subject expertise.
Successful candidates will then progress to a up to 1-hour Competency and Behavioural-Based Interview, allowing us to learn more about your experience, skills, and how you align with our values and the requirements of the role.
