Qualifications

• Experience in Highway Development Management or Transport Planning.
• Professional membership (or eligibility) of a relevant institution.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Assess planning applications and development proposals.
• Provide professional transport and highway advice to planners, developers and elected members.
• Influence the design of new developments and infrastructure schemes.
• Support the delivery of highway improvements through S278, S38 and related agreements.
• Represent the Council at meetings, committees, appeals and public inquiries.
