Job summary

Currys plc in Dumfries is seeking a part-time Sales Colleague for peak season on a fixed-term contract. 8 hours per week, with potential extra hours, at £12.71 per hour plus a performance bonus averaging £0.89/hour (rising to £13.01 after probation).

The role includes induction, training on products, and delivering great customer service across store departments. Flexible weekend hours are typical, with store hours 9am–8pm in many locations.

Qualifications

• As a Retail Sales Colleague you will receive a two to three day induction virtually or at Currys academy.
• You’ll gain skills to sell, serve and support customers and learn about product launches.
• Weekend and peak shifts are common in store hours.

Responsibilities

• As you’ll ask questions to match customers with products.
• You’ll make every customer interaction memorable.
• You’ll offer delivery, installation, recycling and payment options.
• You’ll contribute to store sales performance.
• You’ll work across departments and product ranges.
• You’ll support store operations with tasks.
