Job summary

West Winch Primary School in King's Lynn is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our Nest specialist provision. You will support children who may find the main classroom environment challenging, helping to develop their academic, emotional and social skills.

The role is part-time (27.5 hours/week), term-time only, temporary until 31 August 2027 with potential extension. An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with additional needs would be beneficial.
• Most important is a warm, nurturing approach and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children within the Nest provision.
• Working collaboratively with the SENDCO, class teachers and support staff.
• Assisting pupils to regulate and access learning successfully.
• Lunchtime duties and supporting children during unstructured times.
