Job summary

Temple Learning Academy in Leeds seeks a caring Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term role until 31 August 2027. The position is term-time only plus 2 training days, 18.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (hours to be agreed).

You will support pupils across subjects, working with teachers to create positive learning experiences and enable all pupils to participate fully in school life, helping them build confidence and resilience.

• Experience of supporting young people and helping them to achieve their potential.
• Commitment to supporting every pupil to succeed and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• The skills, knowledge and understanding required to be an effective Teaching Assistant.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• A positive role model who promotes pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing.
