Job summary

Priory is seeking a Female Support Worker in Glasgow to provide compassionate care for residents across three units. The role involves 1:1 or 2:1 support, helping with daily living tasks, and implementing care plans under supervision.

The schedule is part-time with alternating 14 and 26 hours per week. You will work with qualified staff to support residents with autism, learning disabilities, and health needs, promoting wellbeing and independence, while maintaining records and building positive

Job description

Job Types: Part-time, 14 hours one week, 26 hours the next.

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Millburn has an opportunity for a Female Support Worker to join our team to work 1:1 or 2:1 across three female residents who all reside in their own separate units. This role is offered on a part time basis working 14 hours one week and 26 hours the next.

Shifts:

Week 1 Friday 08.00-22.00 (14 hours)

Week 2 Thursday 08.00-20.00 and Friday 08.00-22.00 (26 hours)

We can only consider candidates who can accommodate the above hours.

Millburn is located in Cambuslang, on the outskirts of Glasgow. Our home offers residential support for 20 males and females with a variety of needs, including autistic adults and people with a learning disability. We can also support individuals with mental health and physical health needs.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

• Experience in care or support work

• SVQ level 3 required or willing to achieve in post
