Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Petersfield, Hampshire is seeking a part-time Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live independently. This role involves practical tasks, personal care with dignity, and promoting community connections.

You’ll work Thursdays on a 12.5 hours per week pattern, with pro rata salary of £25,845 per year. Full UK driving licence is essential, and training is provided including nationally recognised qualifications.

• Supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently
• Helping people with everyday tasks like shopping, cooking, or managing money
• Encouraging people to connect with friends, family, and the community – this might include attending day services, visiting the theatre, Bingo and disco events and going on bike rides.
• Providing personal care (with dignity and respect)
• Making each day meaningful — and having fun while you do it!
