JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Part-Time Cleaner to work at a Supermarket based in Wimborne, BH21. The role requires cleaning of floors, shelves and public areas, with duties including waste disposal, staff areas, and spill response. Working six days a week with a Monday or Tuesday off.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending and lifting.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, shelves, entrances and public areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
• Clean staff areas, toilets, changing rooms and break rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors and other surfaces.
• Respond promptly to spillages and potential safety hazards.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Support store opening and closing cleaning tasks.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management.
