Job description

The Role

This part-time Stores Assistant works three days per week (with occasional additional days for coverage). Your primary purpose is to support the stores function, working alongside and supporting the full-time Storeperson. The role is hands-on and varied—ideal for someone organised, reliable and happy to help where needed.

What you’ll do

• Stores support: Receive goods, verify paperwork, put-away stock, and pick/pack orders accurately.
• Minor assembly: Build simple kits (e.g. component kits, seal kits) following instructions.
• Dispatch & returns: Prepare consignments, coordinate freight, and process returns.
• Stock control: Assist with cycle counts and keeping records up to date.
• Workshop assistance (as required): Provide a safe pair of hands for lifts/moves and general help.
• Local driving: Perform pick-ups and drop-offs as required (company vehicle provided).
• Housekeeping & safety: Keep work areas tidy and follow WHS procedures; basic checks on equipment.

What you’ll bring

• Reliability, attention to detail and good teamwork.
• Comfortable with safe manual handling (training provided)
• LF forklift license preferred – or willing to obtain.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Flexibility to work occasional additional days for coverage.

Nice to have (not essential)

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Basic computer skills.

• Exposure to manufacturing or hydraulics.

Part-time

3 days per week (days by mutual agreement).
