Job summary

UHI Perth is seeking a Lecturer in Social Work to deliver across Health, Wellbeing and Social Services from HNC through Postgraduate levels. This 2 x 17.5 hour per week, permanent role requires current professional practice and an appropriate teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.

The successful candidate will hold a Practice Learning award, have post-qualifying social work experience, and be familiar with SiSWE.

Qualifications

• Practice Learning award and post-qualifying social work experience.
• Experience with Standards of Social Work Education (SiSWE).
• Willingness to teach across multiple levels and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across HNC to Postgraduate levels in Health and Social Care.
• Provide specialist knowledge on social work, child/adult protection.
• Contribute to course development and assessment, with SiSWE alignment.
• Maintain PVG clearance and work collaboratively with the team.
