Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Site Cleaner for a long-term, part-time contract in Gateshead. Working on-site, you will help maintain hygiene across welfare facilities and site offices, with flexible daily hours.

Pay options include PAYE Direct at £12.71/hour (plus accrued holiday pay) or Umbrella at £16.71/hour, with weekly Friday payments. CSCS is beneficial but not mandatory; you must have the right to work in the UK and be local to Gateshead or able to commute.

Qualifications

• Proven background in cleaning across commercial, office, industrial or construction site welfare cleaning.
• CSCS card is beneficial but not strictly mandatory for welfare-only cleaning roles.
• PPE includes safety boots and high-visibility vest/jacket.
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage daily cleaning tasks with minimal supervision.
• Local to Gateshead or able to commute daily by public transport.
• Valid right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and welfare facilities: sweep, mop, vacuum and dust daily.
• Sanitize toilets, washbasins and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean food prep areas and seating areas in canteens.
• Empty bins, replace liners and dispatch waste to site skips.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
