Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Band 6 Senior Community Children’s Nurse to join the Bexley and Greenwich Community Children’s Nursing Team and Integrated Hospital at Home Team. You will be a Children’s Nurse with extensive community experience, providing high-quality care in home and community settings.

The role requires evidence of up-to-date post-registration learning and a strong track record in community children’s nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be a Children’s Nurse with extensive knowledge and experience of working within the community.
• Evidence of up to date academic development post registration.
• Experience of working within a Community Children’s Nursing Team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of evidenced based nursing care for children and young people with acute and long term conditions, including palliative and end of life care.
• Work within the CCN/HAH integrated network to deliver services in home or community settings.
• Provide seven day service 08:00–20:30 with 24 hour on call provision for end of life care at home.
