Job summary

Hove Park School is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH, ASC, and SpLD. The role requires a compassionate approach and the ability to help pupils overcome barriers and engage in literacy interventions.

Experience in managing complex needs and responding positively to challenging behaviour is highly desirable. This is a part-time, term-time only post (36.25 hours per week) with 47.36 paid weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
• Experience supporting students with ASC and SpLD.
• Passion for literacy intervention and helping pupils progress.
• Ability to respond positively to challenging behaviour and manage complex needs.
