The Part-Time Finance People are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to support SME clients from their Farnham office in Surrey. The role is part-time and self-employed, paying £22.50 per hour onsite, with a flexible two-day-per-week arrangement.

You will handle invoicing, ledgers, VAT, and month-end processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cash flow optimization for client businesses. Prior SME accounting experience and an ability to manage multiple clients are essential.

Qualifications

• UK-based Finance Manager experience for at least 2 years.
• Ideally self-employed with availability of 2 days per week.
• Experience with SME accounting and payroll is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and sales ledger management.

• Drafting payment runs for approval.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to support our client in Farnham, Surrey in a vibrant creative, design agency.

As a Senior Bookkeeper for The Part-Time Finance People, you will be providing SME clients with a tailored financial support service to help address barriers with their accounting process while preparing and explaining financial information that positively impacts profit and cash flow.

About You:

You should be an experienced Finance Manager with hands on exposure working in growing SMEs, who can bring energy and dynamism to the role.

Ideally, you are already self-employed, with at least 2 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:

• Customer invoicing and sales ledger management
• Credit control and debtor reporting to directors
• Supplier invoices and purchase ledger management
• Drafting payment runs for approval
• Supplier reconciliations
• Bank postings and reconciliations
