• Experienced in teaching science (2 years experience).

• Knowledgeable about primary Science pedagogy and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Review and update the Science curriculum and policy annually (EYFS, KS1, Year 3).
• Monitor discrete and cross-curricular Science teaching.
• Ensure planning supports EAL, SEN and enrichment pupils.
• Track pupil progress and adjust curriculum provision as needed.
• Stay up to date with developments in Science education.
• Attend relevant CPD and training.
• Maintain and develop Science resources and equipment.
• Take stock and place orders when required.
• Ensure the Science Room is tidy, organised and clearly labelled.
• Use resources efficiently and effectively.
