Science Museum Library in London is seeking a part-time Librarian to provide physical access to library materials and archives, while upholding high standards of service. You’ll work within a small team to support research and engagement with STEM collections.

Experience in a research or collections library and a recognised library qualification are desirable, with a focus on careful handling of rare books and archives and welcoming visiting researchers, students, and the public.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a research or collections library setting or a recognised library qualification.
• Enthusiasm for STEM collections and ability to handle rare books and archives with proper care.
• Reading room should invite people in and support wider engagement with collections.
