Job summary

St Nicholas, Thorne invites applications for a part-time Schools and Families Minister employed centrally by the Diocese of Sheffield’s Centenary Project. The post requires a committed Christian with experience in working with schools and families to develop and co-ordinate Church and community activities.

The role is 25 hours per week with flexible hours; it is funded by a grant to 2028 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Committed Christian with active church involvement.
• Experience in working with schools and families.
• Ability to build partnerships in the local community.

Responsibilities

• Establish meaningful connections with local schools and families within the community.
• Build relationships with school staff and volunteers; recruit and integrate volunteers.
• Be part of the Centenary Project Network under the Diocese of Sheffield.
