Job summary

Northpoint is recruiting a School Therapist to join our School Therapy Services across the Leeds area. You will deliver short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people in primary and secondary school settings, helping to improve emotional wellbeing and resilience.

The role is part-time (30 hours per week), permanent, term time only, with a pro rata salary of £32,440 - £40,530 per annum.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage with children and young people
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in a diverse educational setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and young people in school settings
• Manage a caseload, undertake assessments and formulate plans
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and partner agencies to coordinate support
• Provide consultation and guidance to schools with safeguarding and mental health in mind
