Job summary

East Dunbartonshire Council invites applications for a part-time Housekeeping Assistant based at Craighead Primary. The post covers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00–14:00, pro-rated for term-time.

You will assist with lunch and snack delivery, maintain dining room hygiene, and support safe food handling in a school setting. Applicants should understand relevant food safety regulations and child protection policies, possess good organisational and time-management skills, and work well

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulations relating to safe food delivery and handling.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of lunches and snacks to children in a caring, safe manner.
• Ensure dining environments are prepared and hygienic for lunch service.
• Assist with cleaning routines of school dinner halls to maintain hygiene and safety.
