Job summary

St Luke and St Philip’s Church of England Primary Academy is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our Cleaning Staff Team. The role covers term-time hours (15 hours per week, 3pm-6pm) with a fixed term until 31 August 2027, and includes responsibilities to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe learning environment under the Site Manager's supervision.

Applicants with previous cleaning experience are welcome, though not essential.

Qualifications

• Hardworking and trustworthy work ethic.
• Good attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to provide a clean, hygienic and safe environment, as set out in the school's cleaning schedule and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Work under the line management of the Site Manager.
