Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Cleaner for Arran High School, Lamlash. This part-time role (25 hours per week) offers a fixed-term contract with a temp-to-perm pathway, paying £11.22 per hour.

You will work as part of a school cleaning team, delivering high standards and following Mitie safety and safeguarding policies. The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience or be willing to train, be reliable and able to work to a schedule, and demonstrate a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cleaning to routine planned and periodic schedules.
• Undertake training to deliver the cleaning role successfully.
• Maintain designated areas to the agreed level of cleanliness per SLAs.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Report maintenance needs identified during cleaning tasks.
• Support safeguarding and health and safety policies.
