Armfield Academy, part of the Fylde Coast Academy Trust (FCAT), is looking for a cleaner to join our facilities team. The role involves carrying out cleaning tasks to high standards across the school, following FCAT policies and health & safety rules.

We value reliability and attention to hygiene; the post is permanent and part-time, 16 hours per week, with TT+ 10 days. Pro rata annual salary ranges from £9,802 to £9,956, depending on experience and scale alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning in a school environment.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely.
• Basic numeracy and literacy to complete simple records.

Responsabilités

• Undertake general cleaning duties to high standards across the academy.
• Operate/domestic and industrial cleaning equipment following training.
• Store equipment securely and maintain COSHH compliance.
• Collect and dispose of waste and restock consumables as needed.
• Adhere to safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies.
• Undertake additional tasks as required by FCAT and site management.
