Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a facilities team in Wirral on a part-time basis. The role is permanent and onsite, with duties spanning general cleaning and upkeep for staff, students, and visitors.

The successful candidate will perform cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and report issues while adhering to health and safety protocols. DBS check is required during pre-employment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning role.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexible to adapt to the needs of the service.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, staff areas, and kitchen spaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
• Restock cleaning and janitorial supplies.
• Report maintenance or repair issues promptly.
• Follow agreed cleaning schedules and routines.
• Operate cleaning machinery where required.
• Support outdoor cleaning duties, including grit spreading during adverse weather.
• Adhere to health and safety and hygiene protocols.
