Job summary

Norse Cleaning Division, part of Norse Group LTD, is recruiting a Cleaner for Hethersett Academy on maternity cover. The role is part-time: 7.5 hours per week, £12.71 per hour, with shifts Monday and Friday 2:45–4:15 and Tue–Thu 3:45–5:15.

You will clean designated areas, maintain premises and build on-site client relationships, with support for training and potential weekend overtime at enhanced rates. Uniform provided and DBS paid after six months, plus pro-rata annual leave.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining designated areas - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins
• Building relationships with the client on site
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any issues or defects on site
