Job summary

Skipton Girls’ High School is seeking a reliable cleaner to join the team. The role involves cleaning within allocated timescales, with a flexible approach to meet the school’s requirements. Hours are 15 per week, term time only plus 2 weeks, 3:45pm - 6:45pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a fixed term contract until 31 December 2026. The post offers the chance to work with colleagues from across the MAT and contribute to a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Reliable and trustworthy approach to carry out cleaning duties.
• Ability to manage tasks within allocated timescales.

Responsibilities

• General dusting of furniture, fixings and fittings
• Emptying waste paper bins
• Wiping surfaces, fixtures, fittings & paintwork
• Cleaning around toilet areas
• Dust control mopping / sweeping of floors
• Using cleaning materials as instructed
