A well-established furniture retailer in Thetford is seeking a personable and driven Part-Time Sales Consultant. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have at least one year's retail sales experience and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. This role offers 16–24 flexible working hours at £12 per hour plus commission in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview

Simon Acres Recruitment are looking for a personable, driven, and positive Part‑Time Sales Consultant for a well‑established, highly successful, and growing Furniture retailer based in Thetford.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers face to face or over the telephone, and your focus will be delivering exceptional customer service, sales advice, and creating an informed, honest, professional sales experience for our client's customers.

Package

Salary - £12 Per Hour + Commission + Team Bonus Pro Rata.

Working Hours: 16–24 hours per week (shifts can be flexible based on candidate's requirements / weekend‑only shifts also available). Store opening times of 9am – 5:30pm (Mon‑Sat) & 10am – 4pm (Sun).

Job specification
  • Maintain and develop both new and existing customers through excellent customer care and ethical sales methods.
  • Achieve your performance KPI's.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times, resolving all customer queries quickly and efficiently, managing situations to result in successful conclusions.
  • Handle telesales calls between the store's footfall.
  • Adapt to new technology to help enhance customer experience.
  • Work flexibly and as part of the team, ensuring stock is replenished and displayed to the required standard.
  • Carry out daily cash handling routines.
  • Adhere to data protection policies at all times.
  • Change POS and update pricing changes within the store.
  • Ensure the store is clean and presentable at all times.
