Job summary

SBFM in Peterlee is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our retail team. Training and development are provided, and all uniform, products and equipment will be supplied. You will work in a friendly environment while helping maintain high cleanliness standards.

Shifts run 08:30–10:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We welcome reliable, punctual team players who can work independently or with others and are eager to progress through our education and development platform.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential as training and development are provided.
• Ability to work in a retail environment and follow cleaning protocols.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces to keep the store tidy.
• Remove litter and ensure outdoor areas are clean.
• Clean and sanitize all sanitary facilities, including restrooms and break areas.
• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap and hand towels.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.
