Acorns Children's Hospice Trust is recruiting a Deputy Community Superstore Manager to support the Chelmsley Wood Shop Manager in leading a team of volunteers and achieving targets. This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week in the West Midlands charity shop network.

You will influence stock quality, pricing and merchandising, motivate volunteers and drive donations, gifts aid and shop performance, while upholding safeguarding and charity values.

Acorns Children's Hospice are looking for a Deputy Community Superstore Manager to support the Chelmsley Wood Manager in leading a team of volunteers, achieving set targets and maintaining standards. This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week

About the Role

Acorns Children's Hospice are a children's charity, offering specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families. Every year, we support over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families, including those who are bereaved. We have a network of charity shops across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire, which help to provide the funding that we need to provide this care.

As Deputy Community Superstore Manager, you will:

• Support the Shop Manager to create an exciting shop floor experience that makes Acorns stand out from our competitors
• Make decisions about the quality of stock, levels of pricing and style of merchandising
• Motivate and inspire a team of volunteers
• Drive sales by encouraging donations, purchases and gift aid
• Retail experience and experience of working towards targets
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Enjoy a role that involves significant levels of manual handling
