A local authority in the UK is looking for part-time Residential Workers to support adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting. The positions involve working a variety of shifts across the week, providing assistance in line with care plans to promote independence and wellbeing. Ideal candidates will have experience in social care, good communication skills, and a commitment to professional development.

Role Location - Magdalen Close Hostel, Clacton-on-Sea, CO15 3LS.
We are looking to recruit for two Residential Workers and have position available for 20 hours per week or 24 hours per week.
Please note that these positions will work across a mixture of shifts covering from a 7am start to a 10pm finish across a 7-days a week / 365 days a year working pattern including working every other weekend.
A 10% allowance (£2,539.50 to £3,213.10 per annum, full time equivalent), paid monthly alongside your basis salary is added to basic salary due to the early start, late finishes and weekend working.

Magdalen Close is a dynamic forward thinking residential resource, which focuses on supporting adults with a learning disability and or autism for a period of assessment and skill development.
You must be an experienced carer and work in a person centred manner, that is flexible and reliable. You must have previous experience in this field and be able to hit the ground running. Full training is provided and induction is paid.
This role will be focused on being a committed, flexible and passionate member of a team working within a residential/short break service to ensure the provision of a high quality service for adults. The role will work collaboratively with adults, their families and other professionals in a residential home environment.
The role will support adults in accordance with their care plans and ensuring access to social and leisure activities according to their needs and wishes. The role also includes the continuous monitoring of individuals emotional and general wellbeing.
