Qualifications

• Must satisfactorily complete mandated personal care direct care staff training and competency examination within 14 days.
• Must complete Agency-provided resident assistant training during introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete daily assignments; prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Provide residents with adequate nutrition and hydration.
• Assist with ambulation and other assistive devices as ordered.
• Assist with comfort and care of ill or dying residents under Hospice Care.
• Encourage participation in social programs and activities.

Skills

Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills

General knowledge of assigned department’s operations

CPR certified

Education
