Job summary

The University of Oxford's Department of Psychiatry seeks a part-time Research Assistant to support a project on accelerated biological ageing in psychosis. Based at Warneford Hospital, Oxford, this 7.5-hour-per-week role is funded to 31 January 2028 and offers hybrid working arrangements.

You will analyse large multi-modal datasets, develop analytical methods, review literature, and contribute to publications and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, psychology, or psychiatry.
• Experience with reproducible data analysis using command line tools.
• Working toward a doctorate in psychosis.
• Experience with large multi-modal datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large multi-modal datasets relevant to psychosis and ageing.
• Develop analytical methodologies and apply ageing clocks across omics data.
• Review literature and undertake systematic literature reviews.
• Contribute to publications, conference presentations, and project admin.
