A local veterinary clinic in Burgess Hill is seeking a proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team on a part-time basis. You will engage in various aspects of veterinary care, including theater, inpatient care, and nurse consults. We’re looking for a proactive and positive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and long-established team on a part time basis. This is a varied role covering theatre, inpatient care, lab work and nurse consults, with the opportunity to build your own nurse clinic interests (we currently offer puppy parties and weight clinics, and are always happy to support new ideas).
You’ll work closely with our two highly experienced resident vets, as well as the wider clinical support team, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills across a broad caseload - including a notable number of exotics.
Cootes Veterinary Clinic is a proud first opinion practice with a loyal client base and a real community. Our recently refurbished building gives us a bright, spacious and practical environment to work in, with a large kennel area and well-equipped clinical spaces.
We are based in a semi‑rural location with on‑site parking, good access to Brighton, and the South Downs on our doorstep. We work closely with our dedicated Out of Hours provider, and aim to keep cases in‑house wherever possible. We also welcome visiting specialists for scanning and endoscopy, helping our team to learn and grow together.

This is a part time position working Mondays & Tuesdays from 10:30‑19:00. This averages at 16 hours per week.
