Job summary

Belmont Vets in Hereford is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the clinical team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, run nurse clinics, and support dentistry and surgery alongside veterinarians.

The role requires RCVS registration, clinical experience, and strong communication and organisational skills to contribute to patient care and client experiences.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for a confident registered veterinary nurse with RCVS registration.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Running nurse clinics.
• Providing outstanding inpatient care.
• Supporting dental procedures.
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical procedures.
