Our client is the leading trade union representing exclusively the interests of teachers and school leaders throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.

  • Salary £37,457 per annum (£62,428 FTE)
  • 21 hours per week (Monday-Wednesday)
  • 49 days pro rata leave inclusive of closure days and public holidays

They have an opportunity for a part‑time Regional Official to join the South West Team. Working with lay officers and staff colleagues, you will manage a substantial caseload across a large region, providing individual support and representation to teachers and school leaders.

This is a demanding role, in which you will deal with the complete range of employee relations issues, whilst actively promoting the Union’s organising strategy. The role requires tenacity, objectivity, a good understanding of employment law and the ability to advocate successfully.
