Job description

This is a part-time Regional Director role with a business development focus, based in South Wales (Cardiff, Newport, Swansea). The successful candidate will focus on identifying and developing relationships with SME and scale-up businesses to promote Boardroom Advisors' services. Responsibilities include new business outreach, client relationship management, and assisting companies with strategic growth plans. This is a hybrid position; the role requires work in Swansea, Newport, Cardiff and surrounding areas, with flexibility for remote work. This is a contract position, which is entirely fee‑sharing. There are no joining fees for candidates.

  • Proven expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation
  • Skills in Business Planning and strategic development for SMEs and scale‑ups
  • Ability to manage Account Management responsibilities, building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Strong experience in Contract Negotiation and collaborating effectively with stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and familiarity with the needs of small and medium‑sized enterprises
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for fostering relationships across diverse industries
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in business development, management consulting, or a related field
  • Understanding of the local business landscape in South Wales is an advantage
