Job summary

Blaise Veterinary Referrals is seeking a Diplomate or Residency-trained Cardiologist to join on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. The role supports a large, multidisciplinary referral hospital in the UK, with a focus on advanced cardiology cases and clinical collaboration.

The successful candidate will work around 20 hours per week, with potential extension or full-time hours if opportunities arise within the Inspiring Vet Care network.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree with appropriate registration to practice in the UK.
• Board-Eligible or Boarded Diplomate in Cardiology as required.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital preferred.
• Ability to mentor and supervise colleagues and uphold clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced cardiology care within a referral setting and manage complex cases.
• Provide clinical advice and support to referring practices and colleagues.
• Mentor staff and support continuous improvement within the service.
