Job summary

Flourish Education seeks a confident Reception Teacher for a part-time job-share role in Kidderminster. The position runs Monday to Wednesday with planning provided, focusing on delivering high-quality EYFS teaching and supporting pupils’ development.

You'll work with a supportive team in a welcoming primary school, delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and EYFS experience.
• Experience teaching in a Primary School setting, ideally Reception.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs.
• Patient, caring and nurturing approach.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a job-share and with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Reception pupils.
• Follow existing planning and adapt activities as needed to meet individual needs.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive Early Years learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and inform teaching decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the job-share teacher and wider school team.
