Job summary

WebbHR Consultancy is partnering with an established, growing accountancy practice in Anstey. The firm provides a full range of services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, including accounts prep, tax returns, VAT, payroll and MTD compliance.

A hands-on Qualified Accountant role is available part-time (three days per week) working closely with the Directors. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day practice operations, prepare year-end accounts and oversee tax and VAT

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience in general practice handling a mixed portfolio including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Confident with tax compliance including personal and corporate tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Work with Directors to manage the practice on a day-to-day basis.
• Prepare year-end accounts for various client structures.
• Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax and partnership tax returns.
