Purchase Ledger / Credit Control Assistant Belfast, Part-Time (4 Days/Week) | £22,000 - £24,000 (DOE)

We're currently working on behalf of our client in Belfast city centre who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger / Credit Control Assistant to join their finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in accounts payable and credit control who’s looking for a flexible role with a supportive team.

You'll play a key part in managing our purchase ledger and credit control functions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance and is highly organised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credit control - manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments
  • Entering purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Posting bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts
  • Supporting wider finance tasks as needed
Criteria
  • Minimum 1 year+ in your current finance role
  • Solid industry experience in a similar position
  • Strong credit control background - essential
  • Proficiency with Sage (Sage 200 ideal, but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • 4-day working week (flexible on which days)
  • Opportunity to work 1 day from home after probation
  • Friendly and supportive working environment
  • Competitive salary £22,000 - £24,000, depending on experience
