Job summary

Cohens Chemist in Pontefract is seeking a 4-hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to cover the Pontefract area. You will deliver prescriptions to private homes and care facilities, planning routes with basic computer tools and delivering with a professional, customer-focused approach.

The role requires you to use your own vehicle with business use insurance, and offers a discretionary bonus, paid holidays, pension contributions, regulatory training, and a uniform.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management and planning abilities
• Basic computer skills for route planning and records
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle for work use

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes in Pontefract area.
• Provide high standard of customer service and act as Cohens brand ambassador.
• Plan and print daily routes using basic computer skills before starting deliveries.
• Be able to work under pressure to meet designated delivery times.
• Assist with PR activities to help increase business.
• Ensure deliveries comply with company procedures and use business-use insurance for own vehicle.
