Qualifications

• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a paramedic.
• Experience working in a primary care, urgent care, or general practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing.
• Independently prescribe medications in accordance with local guidelines.
• Conduct triage and clinical assessments for patients.

Skills

Evidence of ongoing professional development

Strong IT skills

Knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding

Education

Degree in Paramedicine or equivalent qualification

Independent Prescribing qualification (V300)

Working towards or attained Level 7 (MSc) capability in clinical practice
