We have 3 GP partners and 1 salaried GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic, Practice Nurses, Assistant Practitioner and HCA. Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapist, Social Prescriber and mental health support from MIND. Job Description

Job responsibilities: To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.

  • Specialist qualifications or training in areas such as chronic disease management, wound care and Treatment Room duties.
Desirable
  • Post‑registration experience in general practice or primary care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or the ability to undertake training.
Experience
Essential
  • Experience in general nursing practice within a primary care setting or similar.
  • Experience in patient assessment and delivery of evidence‑based nursing care.
  • Understanding of clinical governance, infection control protocols, and safeguarding practices.
  • Chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, diabetes, hypertension).
  • Experience in administering vaccines and performing health checks.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of care navigation in primary care settings.
  • Familiarity with emergency care, health promotion, and preventative services.
