Job summary

Keele University invites applications for a Lecturer in Creative Writing (Poetry) on a 0.5 FTE basis, starting January 2027. The role is within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivering and developing teaching in Creative Writing for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Experience as a published poet is advantageous, with a strong commitment to supporting diverse cohorts. The post offers the opportunity to contribute to both teaching and research, with a competitive pro rata

• Support undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Creative Writing and the wider School.
• Contribute to teaching, learning and research activities within the School.
