TEWV pharmacy team are recruiting a dispensing assistant (part time - 30 hours) to join our pharmacy at Roseberry Park Hospital, Middlesbrough. This post will allow the successful candidate to progress from a band 2 to a band 3 senior pharmacy assistant after completing the relevant criteria required.

The successful applicant will be an exceptional team player with good communication and interpersonal skills who are enthusiastic and committed to join our team.

Qualifications

• Dispensing and stock management in a pharmacy setting.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain safety and legality.
• Interest in progression to Band 3.

Responsabilités

• Dispense medications against prescriptions and requisitions.
• Maintain ward stock and manage medicines under SOPs.
• Handle controlled drugs for ward stock and order patient medication as required.
• Record stock, receipts from wholesalers and expiry checks.
• Undertake mandatory training and professional development.
