GCIL East Dunbartonshire is advertising for a compassionate Social Care Worker/Personal Assistant to support a young, nonverbal girl in Kirkintilloch. The role focuses on safety, engagement during activities, and personal care when needed.

Part-time, 4 hours per week, typically two 2-hour sessions or one 4-hour session, after school or at weekends. Pay £15.00 per hour. You will be employed directly by a private employer on a PAYE basis and must obtain a PVG check.

Qualifications

• PVG check required or willing to obtain one.
• Experience with nonverbal children is advantageous.
• Caring, patient and proactive in activities.

Responsibilities

• Support a young, nonverbal girl with daily activities in Kirkintilloch.
• Keep her safe and engaged during outings and at home.
• Assist with personal care if required and follow care plans.
