Job summary

Independent Lives is seeking a kind, friendly PA to support a 69-year-old woman in Shoreham‑by‑Sea. The role is three mornings weekly (Mon, Tue, Thu) from 9:30am–2:00pm, with driving duties and practical support including meals, mobility and companionship.

Training will include shadowing the current PA to ensure smooth handover. The successful candidate will be reliable, patient and personable, able to work independently and follow instructions, and comfortable with pets.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence and be comfortable driving a adapted van.
• Ability to speak and read English to a reasonable standard.
• Kind, patient and reliable with good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Eating and drinking assistance.
• Cooking meals.
• Transportation and driving to social activities.
• Providing companionship and day‑to‑day support in the mornings.
• May assist with personal care items such as leg bag or similar tasks as needed.
